K-12 Education Programming

 

  • An annual statewide human rights art contest for Grades K-12 students; each year’s contest theme is drawn from the message of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial.(contest permission release form)
  • An annual statewide human rights poetry contest for Grades 6-12  students; each year’s contest theme is drawn from the message of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial.

  • An eight lesson online Human Rights Leadership Program for Grades 8-12 students that integrates the three components of civic learning (knowledge, skills and dispositions) in the design and delivery of a school-based project implemented to foster an inclusive school climate and culture.   • An annual human rights workshop for Idaho teachers that examines resources and strategies to strengthen teaching and learning in human rights education, holocaust education, civic education and/or international education.
  • An annual summer institute for Idaho educators that links the study of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with contemporary issues in the community, state, nation and world.
