Wassmuth Center for Human Rights Education Poster Sets

The Spiral of Injustice

Whether the 18” x 24” “Spiral of Injustice” poster is used as a graphic to discuss the Holocaust or as a tool for examining contemporary issues and patterns, educators are telling us that their students are able to frame discussion according to the devolving stages.  Analysis of injustice must include the recognition of impact when “the other” has been demeaned or marginalized in the community.

Project made possible with print support from HP Inc.

The poster is free-of-charge if picked up at the Center.  Online orders will include a $10 charge for shipping and handling.

Be an Updstander - how poster

In a set of five 18″ x 24″ posters, the Center’s “Be an Upstander” poster series encourages students to take action when they hear or witness injustice.  We remind that doing or saying nothing sends a message that injustice is acceptable.  It isn’t.

Project made possible with print support from HP Inc.

The poster set is free-of-charge if picked up at the Center.

To order a set of posters for mail delivery, there is a $20 charge for shipping and handling.

Holocaust

“The Holocaust provides one of the most effective subjects for examining basic moral issues.  A structured inquiry into this history yields critical lessons for an investigation into human behavior.  It also addresses one of the central mandates of education in the United States, which is to examine what it means to be a responsible citizen.”  – United State Holocaust Memorial Museum

The 18” x 24” “Auschwitz” poster features the quote “Dear Teacher” by Haim Ginott that is etched in the stone of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial.

Project made possible with print support from HP Inc.

The poster is free-of-charge if picked up at the Center.

Online orders will include a $10 charge for shipping and handling.
