Limited to just 25 participants, each Cultural Encounter provides an opportunity to not only financially support the work of the Center in bringing human rights education to classrooms and communities throughout the state, but also to meet others in our network who are committed to “promoting respect for human dignity and diversity through education.” A Cultural Encounter is more than just a “trip,” it’s a life-changing journey.
May 28 – June 5, 2023, “Each One, Teach One” program in South Africa and Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. The program cost is $4,979 based on double occupancy. The cost includes lodging (two night in Johannesburg and six nights in Chitengo, Gorongosa National Park), breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, tours and activities, in-country transportation, international transportation between Johannesburg, South Africa and Beira, Mozambique, and guides. The program cost does not include the international airfare to Johannesburg, South Africa, travel insurance, passport and visa, single occupancy lodging or gratuities.
The deposit and registration deadline is February 1, 2023. Included in the total cost of the travel program, a $750 non-refundable deposit is a tax-deductible donation to the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights.)
