Become a Docent

Give Back

Ready to donate your time and energy to human rights? Since the Memorial opened to the public in 1996, Wassmuth Center volunteer docents have led tours of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial to students, companies, and other visitors. Docents are integral to how the Center intersects with the community, and we always welcome new docents from various backgrounds.

Why be a Docent?

Docents share their knowledge about the Memorial, Idaho, and human rights with the public. If you like learning and sharing that learning with others to further the themes of human rights, you would be a wonderful docent!

What is the Commitment?

The Center keeps a running schedule of tours in the Memorial, and docents can sign up to lead tours as they are available. In addition, docents meet monthly to share learning and connect with Center staff to get updates.
