Wassmuth Center Discovery Tours
What is a Discovery Tour?
A Wassmuth Center Discovery Tour is an opportunity for community groups, organizations, and workplaces to explore the mission and work of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights.
These tours provide a welcoming space to learn about human rights education, reflect on the power of storytelling, and engage with exhibits that bring history and advocacy to life.
Discovery Tours are free of charge, reflecting our commitment to making human rights education accessible to all.

What to Expect
Each Wassmuth Center Discovery Tour is designed to be engaging and reflective, encouraging discussion and personal connection to human rights themes. The experience varies slightly depending on your group’s size, with one-hour tours for groups of up to 15 people and 90-minute tours for groups of up to 25. While every visit is unique, most tours include the following elements:
Welcome & Introduction: Begin in the Lobby with a warm welcome and, if available, special remarks from Development Coordinator Sierra Padilla Huit or Executive Director Christina Bruce-Bennion.
Self-Guided Building Tour: Explore the Philip E. Batt building at your own pace with an informational packet and interactive QR codes to deepen your understanding of our work.
Dimensions in Testimony Exhibit: Engage with this groundbreaking technology to hear and interact with the stories of Holocaust survivors.
Mission & Programs Video: Pause to reflect while enjoying a coffee (if desired) and learning more about our mission & programs through a brief, inspiring video.
Q&A Wrap-Up: We invite your group to ask any further questions or share thoughts and highlights from the tour, leaving inspired to support our ongoing work in promoting human rights.
At the end of your Discovery Tour, if you’re interested in learning more about specific programs or exploring how human rights education can be integrated into your work, our team will be available to provide additional information.
If your team feels inspired to support our mission, we will be happy to share ways you can get involved.
However you choose to engage, we look forward to helping you find meaningful ways to stay connected and advance human rights in our community and beyond.
