2025 Idaho Gives Fundraiser

Your Moment to make an Impact

In a time when division and human rights violations seem to dominate the national conversation, the need for connection has never been greater. Across the country, the dignity of each person, the very right to live with respect, compassion, and equality, faces a daily struggle – but our story does not end here.

At the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights, we believe that change begins close to home, in the everyday spaces where we engage, and in the connection of our hearts and minds. The Center began as the home of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial and now with the addition of the new Philip E. Batt Education Building, our space serves as a human rights campus in the heart of Boise that invites individuals of all ages to connect through learning so we can collectively overcome these challenges and create a community where we all belong.

Starting Monday, we will be fundraising through Idaho Gives from Monday, April 28th – Thursday, May 1st to raise $35,000 to support our human rights educational programs in Boise and beyond. Now more than ever, the educational programs of the Wassmuth Center are essential in building a more inclusive world and inspiring our visitors to take action in the corners of their own community.

Your gift is more than just a donation.

It is an investment in a world where every person
belongs and thrives.

Idaho Gives – a program of the Idaho Nonprofit Center supported by ICCU – is designed to bring the state together, raising funds and awareness for Idaho nonprofits. Donations can only be collected from Monday, April 28th through Thursday, May 1st.

Why donate?

With your donation, the Wassmuth Center can continue to open hearts and minds in the Treasure Valley with the power of knowledge and inspire our community to rise above the challenges of our time. We believe that when we learn together, we can build a world that affirms the dignity of every individual. With your help we can:

  • Connect community members with each other in a classroom, audience, or conversational setting.
  • Learn about human rights issues in our community and beyond.
  • Create a path forward to honor every person’s dignity and build a more just future for all.
