The Center Capital Campaign
The New Philip E. Batt Education Building
The Philip E. Batt Building, located adjacent to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, opened on October 11th 2025 and stands as a inspiring addition to the Wassmuth Center campus. This Human Rights Education building is a space where individuals and communities can come together to learn, reflect, and imagine a better world. Named in honor of former Idaho Governor Philip E. Batt, a champion of dignity and human rights, this space reflects his enduring legacy and commitment to the progress of Human Rights in Idaho.
The building features a beautiful and functional classroom designed with cutting-edge technology to help facilitate the education programs at the Wassmuth Center, as well as, serve as a rented meeting space for mission-aligned community organizations.
The building features 28 pieces of Human Rights themed art from local & regional artists that amplify the themes of the Wassmuth Center mission. Our private offices, extensive human rights themed library and Dimensions in Testimony exhibit all contribute to the beauty and function of this edifice.
This facility is more than just a building—it’s a beacon of hope and progress, and you can support its continued work by donating to the Capital Campaign. Every contribution helps us build a future where human rights are respected and protected for all.
