Human Rights Celebration
It’s time to celebrate the amazing students and educators who are shining lights of hope, promoting respect for human dignity and diversity! This will be an evening of art, writing, music, and community. Starting at 5pm, the community is invited to visit booths to learn about the work of the Wassmuth Youth Leaders and Wassmuth Human Rights Education Fellows. Also join the Living Room Boys for an eclectic sing-along. Tangos will be onsite selling their delicious empanadas.
There will be a formal program at 6pm to recognize the students who won awards in this year’s Human Rights Art & Writing Awards Program as well as to honor the new cohorts of Wassmuth Youth Leaders and Wassmuth Human Rights Education Fellows.
